For admissions to class 11th, Department of Education planning to conduct a CET for all the students (all board) in the month of JULY 2021 or after conditions in the state are under control.

Amidst all the turmoil around the exams postponement and cancellation, it is said that Department of Education in consultation with expert committee is planning to conduct a 100 marks offline objective test for admission to 11th.  The CBSE last month announced its evaluation system for class 10th students, but students of other board are still not sure about how they will be evaluated. State board was to assess students based on the internal evaluation which seems to be difficult. And so a decision to conduct such MCQ based exam is to be taken.

SSC examinations have been cancelled due to Corona crisis.  Should we conduct Common Entrance Test by Department of Education for 11th Class admission?

There will be only one paper of 100 marks consisting questions of all the subjects and the duration of the paper will be 2 hours. This offline test is planned in July 2021 or after the decrease of spread of COVID-19 in every school following SOPs of COVID-19 breaks the chain regulations.

The students will get the admissions in 11th class on the basis of the performance in the test. So the students of all the boards are being informed to submit their clear opinion about the CET in the given link.
